Verdant Sierra is a distinctive mochila handcrafted in fique, a natural and biodegradable fiber derived from a native Andean plant, by an artisan from the Kankuama Indigenous community in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia.

Woven through a slow, deliberate process, this piece embodies a deep connection to the mountains, the land, and ancestral knowledge passed down through generations. Each fiber is shaped with intention, honoring nature as both source and guide.

This design draws inspiration from the lush landscapes of the Sierra Nevada. Its deep green and earthy tones evoke fertile hillsides, sacred forests, and the quiet strength of vegetation that thrives between mist and sun.
